Sorry for the long wait on an update!
Kasey’s surgery went well. It was a bit more intense than she expected, but she is healing nicely and is currently enjoying a much-needed family vacation in Hawaii. After a full year of intense treatment and near-constant appointments, this trip was something she had been looking forward to for a long time. She’s soaking up every moment of summer and making the most of it.
Kasey will continue receiving chemo infusions every three weeks. She’s managing them very well with minimal side effects this time around (unlike the first one), and we’re so grateful for that. We’re hoping this positive trend continues.
Otherwise, there’s not much new to report — which is honestly the best kind of news.
