Kasey received her MRI results, and while it’s not all good news, we’re celebrating the victories where we can: the cancer is confined to her right breast. However, precancerous cells were also found in the same breast. Chemotherapy will focus on shrinking the tumor but won’t eliminate the precancerous cells, So the Shitty Titty has got to go!! The surgery date is still unknown, as the priority now is starting chemo to reduce the tumor size. Today (5/28), Kasey is getting a shot to suppress her ovaries, and on Friday, she’ll have a port placed for chemo. She’s feeling nervous about the procedure, so please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Next week, Kasey will attend a chemo education class to prepare for treatment, which is expected to start the following week.
