Kasey completed her 18-week chemotherapy journey! She used cold capping throughout, with Colt diligently changing them every 25 minutes, and she proudly kept her curls. Kasey powered through both chemo and teaching without missing a day, looking so radiant that many students were unaware of her battle.Today was an emotional milestone—she rang the bell, marking the end of this chapter! Special thanks to Erin for lunch and Dana for dinner, these have been such a big help on her chemo days! She has a doctor’s appointment on Wednesday, October 1st, to finalize surgery details. Post-surgery, Kasey will resume immunotherapy, likely for a year from diagnosis. We’ll share updates on her surgery soon.
