Kasey returned to school last Thursday, hoping for a kind and patient group of students this year. She had her MRI today and feels more at ease knowing what to expect. Results are still pending, and I’ll share an update when we receive them. Please pray for positive news and that the tumor has shrunk.

Kasey finished her second round of treatment and is resting tonight due to fatigue. Her liver enzymes were slightly elevated, so her doctor adjusted the Taxotere dose. To reduce the risk of neuropathy, a side effect of Taxotere, Kasey is icing her hand and feet, though she jokingly compares it to a torture chamber again.

Kasey’s genetic testing results are back, and there’s no genetic link—great news for our family, though the situation could be better.
