Kasey’s pathology report came back, and unfortunately, there are still cancerous cells present at the margins. This means she’ll need another surgery, which will likely be scheduled very soon.
This is tough news, and we’re praying this will be the final surgery needed for removal. The doctors want to allow enough time for her tissue to heal properly while also acting quickly due to the aggressive nature of the cancer.
